Cristiano Ronaldo has finally left Real Madrid for Juventus after an agreed €112 million with the Italian club.
The Portuguese will sign with the new club a 4-year contract with a salary of 31 million euros per year.
The club itself will pay about a third – about 10 million euros. The main part, as assured by La Stampa and La Gazzetta dello Sport, – will cover the car factory Fiat (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles).
Over the past year, information about the possible departure of Cristiano from “Real” appeared several times. He had problems with the tax authorities, then failed negotiations on a new contract. Cristiano required a salary of about 80 million euros per year (50 after tax), which would make him the highest-paid player in the world (Messi has 42 million clean).
Last fall, the Portuguese Record reported that Ronaldo finally decided that he would leave Spain. But then there were several more attempts to agree on the extension of the contract, including after the departure of Zidane and the appointment of Khulen Lopetega.
Italy – the third country in the career of Ronaldo, not counting the native of Portugal. In the “Manchester United” he played from 2003 to 2009 and won three league titles and one Champions League. In the “Real” from 2009 to 2018 – 2 championships and 4 Champions League.
