Arsenal yesterday announced the departure of Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla , who ends contract next month and has not played since October 2016 due to an ankle injury.
In a statement on its website, the club in London said goodbye to the player, who has spent the last six on the orders of Arsène Wenger.
” Santi joined Arsenal from Málaga in the summer of 2012 and during this time he became a key part of the team, in addition to proving to be one of the most gifted players in the Premier League,” the note read.
