Ekiti: Wike reacts to attack on Fayose


The Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike has condemned the alleged attack on his counterpart in Ekiti nation, Governor Ayodele Fayose on the state government residence on Wednesday.

Reacting to the assault on Fayose, Wike said the attack became a pointer to what Nigerians should expect within the drawing close 2019 elections.

The Governor stated this on Wednesday at the same time as addressing reporters at the Rivers state government residence in Port Harcourt, the nation capital.

According to him “My state may suffer the same fate, everyone should be on alert.

“We urge the people of Ekiti State and supporters of the PDP not to allow the incident dampen their morale ahead of of Saturday’s governorship election.”
