FG raises burial committee for Ekwueme


The Federal Government has set up a committee to see to the state burial of former Nigerian Vice President Alex Ekwueme who died in London last Sunday.

The committee was set up after a meeting presided by the vice president Prof. Yemi Osinbajo at the presidential villa, Abuja.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha, made the announcement at a meeting of the National Economic Council.
Mustapha added that he would chair the commitee adding that he would work with the Anambra state government and the Ekwueme’s family to see to the success of the burial.

He however did not name other members of the committee
