Nigerian Customs record over 20% increase in revenue


The Sokoto-Kebbi-Zamfara Command of the Nigeria Customs Service have recorded N443, 770, 574.96 in 2018 as agaisnt N368, 883, 134.00 of 2017, which translated to 20.3% increament.

While breifing the Press, the CAC of the Command Nasiru Ahmed said that, in recent the command made seizure of 48 vehicles with Duty Paid Value (DPV) of N198 million.

He further stated that, a new border post was established on the 26th of March 2018 in Wara, a border Community, near Maje, in Kebbi State.

He therefore called on the business Community to take advantage of the newly opened border for ease of clearance.
