The current Russian President Vladimir Putin is gaining 71.97% of votes in the presidential elections after processing 21.33% of the ballots, the CEC said.
At the same time, according to the exit-poll of the Fund, public opinion, Putin scored 76.3% (VTsIOM – 73.9%).
According to FOM, Pavel Grudinin (CPRF) is second with 11.9%, Vladimir Zhirinovsky (LDPR) at third, with 6%. Ksenia Sobchak, according to the FOM, gained about 2%, Grigory Yavlinsky – 1% of the vote. Maxim Suraykin and Boris Titov – 0.7% each, Sergei Baburin – 0.6%.
According to the data at 18:00 Moscow time, the turnout for the elections as a whole for the country was 59.93%. As the CEC informed, this is the latest data, the update of information on this indicator has been discontinued. It was noted that at the last presidential election the final value of the voters’ activity level at 6 pm Moscow time was 58.3%.
