Liverpool striker Mohammed Sallah has been at the peak of his game this season not just at the UEFA champions league but also in the Barclays Premier League.
Mo Salah broke the highest amount of goals in 38 matches in Barclays Premier League during their match against Brighton.
Before the record breaking strike by Salah, Alan Shearer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez have both scored 31 goals respectively.
Alan Shearer was the first among the record holder to congratulate Salah on his record breaking feat via a tweet which reads: “Congratulations @MoSalah on the new goal-scoring record. I enjoyed it while it lasted! ♂️ @premierleague #PLrecord”
And in the 84th minutes when Salah was substituted, the home fans gave a standing ovation to their new cult hero.
