Chelsea has agreed to sign Arsenal striker Oliver Giroud after it failed to sign AS Roma striker Edin Dzeko.
Reports by Gianluca DiMarzio said Arsenal has agreed to give up Giroud to Chelsea for £15 million fee plus incentives for the French international.
The move will enable Michy Batshuayi to leave Stamford Bridge on loan, with Borussia Dortmund linked with the Belgian.
Meanwhile Daniel Sturridge has joined West Brom on loan from Liverpool, with the Baggies beating Inter and Premier League rivals Newcastle United to the striker’s signature.
Both clubs have confirmed the deal with West Brom paying a £2 million loan fee and the entirety of Sturridge’s £120,000 a week wages
