Two fake soldiers have been arrested by the Niger state police command for allegedly robbing a sergeant of the Nigerian Army Guards Brigade, Asokoro in Abuja.
According to report, the duo have been terrorising residents around Zuma Rock area in Madalla, Suleja Council of the state, ripping them of their valuables at gun point.
However, they met their Waterloo after they robbed Usman Saidu of his Honda Accord, phone and other valuables around Zuma rock while he was returning from Abuja.
Saidu said the bandits numbering about six camouflaged as soldiers when they carried out this operation.
The suspects, Peter Ali, 27, and Paul Isyaku, 23, were trailed before being arrested by the Police after robbing the soldier of his car.
The suspects permanently stationed themselves on Abuja-Kaduna road, robbing innocent people on a daily basis.
Ali said they had been operating on the Abuja-Kaduna highway for over five years.
